Let’s make financial advice personal.
Alex gives self-employed consultants, small business owners and creatives peace of mind by taking a holistic approach to financial planning.
Coming from a design industry background, and being freelance for four years, Kate felt that she wasn’t able to access financial advice or assistance for people like herself. After experiencing the lack of professional financial advice and resources available for the self-employed, Kate wanted to action the change by retraining as a financial adviser. Launching Alex to offer personable and holistic financial education and advice to support people from all backgrounds and businesses take control of their financial future.
Together we can move the dial towards creating a secure financial future.
Purpose
Thanks to recessions, pandemics and rising living costs being able to implement financial security into our lives is seeming increasingly tough. Alex exists to provide considered jargon-free and personable guidance and tools to create a future they value.
Why Alex?
One of the first questions I get asked by my clients is what's behind the name Alex.
Alex is my middle name and is a name I have always been drawn to. More interesting than Kate and more steadfast than Woosey, it’s the perfect middle. My belief is that personal financial advice should be available to everyone, regardless of gender, age, or your bank balance. As a unisex name, I felt Alex summed up this idea in four sharp and simple letters.
